Jobs available like crazy!
It’s interesting being networked well enough (and I’m REALLY not all that well networked) that I have people coming to me left and right looking for good developers. Until just recently, it seemed like there really wasn’t any quality work for .Net guys, now I’ve been getting requests at the rate of 2 employers a day asking me if I know someone that can fill a position and I know Aaron is getting as many if not more. Problem is, just about every .Net developer I know is gainfully and happily employed.
I’ve talked in the past about that I could easily open a recruiting shop and that’s never been truer than now. I’ve also talked a lot about opening an outsourced development shop and I think that I could make that work as well. It’s absolutely mind boggling how many jobs I’m hearing about.
What are they looking for? C# ASP.Net developers. Here are some of the things I can name off the top of my head:
One person looking for: 2 C#Asp’ers - 1 very Sr and one very Jr OR 2 Mid-level
One person looking for: 4 Sr C#Asp’ers and 5 Mid-levels
One person looking for: 1 mid-level C#Asp’er
One person looking for: 3 C#’ers 1 with ASP
One person looking for: 4 VB.net and/or VB6 developers, all levels.
What am I looking for? 1 Mobile system developer that is AWESOME.
