OK, I restarted Riya three times and played with it a little the last two times. I blogged about problems with it over here. I was originally trying to upload a directory that had all my 2005 pictures in it - 2.63 Gig with 3,091 files. I’m wondering if that’s a bit much
So in playing with it, I dropped it to a folder that only had 8 pics - worked fine. So - where is the threshold?
Or is there something else that jumped in there and made it work?

You must have been lucky. Nothing seems to work for me. I even tried uploading just one picture..
Also, when I hit the stop uploading button, nothing happens for like 3 or 4 minutes.
I think I’ll just stop trying for the next few days..
Ah, I think I solved it. Kill riyatray.exe, kill javaw.exe, empty client.log (it gets really big after running for a while) and restart the uploader. It will finish what it started!
I have tried it pretty successfully with 600 photos. I pointed it at a directory that had litereally thousands of photos and was about 10 GB in size.
I had to shut it down because I needed to use my computer for other things but it seemed to work pretty well. I blogged about it at http://www.1000flowersbloom.com
Tinus - there is an issue with the uploader it should be fixed later today. You will need to download a new version. I will post once it is ready. Sorry for the delay
Hey Munjal! Thanks for the info. I’ve been able to load up a few photos and work with them - I don’t want this to look all negative. It’s good to know that the problem has been identified!
