Well, I just got back from Los Hermanos. I was concerned about whether or not we were going to have the internet available and a few other things so I went over and talked to Gary, one of the managers.

They have a wireless broadband connection there, but it’s on a WEP key. They gave me the key so I could check it out and even told me i could pass around the key. We discussed what the dinner was and that there would be lots of geeks there wanting to use the web. They told me I could bring in a wireless router, hook it up and leave it open. So, problem solved, we’ll have free wifi available at the dinner!

We worked out a few other details as well. Los Hermanos has been extremely accomodating and very easy to work with. I’ll be plugging them a lot after how well they are treating us.
