TagJungle Launch Party - Geek Dinner
You’re all invited!
First of all, the PLS Open House is being cancelled (postponed/morphed) - if you’re one of the people that were planning on attending, don’t come. Come to our Launch Party instead.
Second of all, if you were planning on attending the Geek Dinner at Los Hermanos, you’d be going to the wrong place!
On Wednesday, September 20th from 6:30 - 9:00, for the September Geek Dinner, we (PLS) are going to put on a launch party for TagJungle. Here’s the short list for the event:
- Big BBQ at a park pavillion (free) (location to be announced very shortly)
- Live band
- Free T-Shirts
- Lots of networking
What we’ll be doing:
- Announcing/Presenting TagJungle
- Introducing our company
- Announcing our new name
- All within 20 minutes
What we need:
- A park where we can have lots of people and be loud (live band)
- Everyone to spread the word really heavily
- Recommendations for a band - I have a couple in mind, but I’m open to suggestions
For my corporate friends - we’re looking for sponsors, let me know if you’re interested by emailing me at phil801 at phil801.com. You’ll get linked mention on several blogs, mention at the party and your logo will be on the back of our T-Shirts.
We can really use a headcount on this - please RSVP on the devutah wiki if you’re planning to come!
More to come in a couple days.

Sounds AWESOME. You know I am there.
There is an incredible park in VINEYARD, just off Geneva road, near the lake (not close enough for boating though) with a large area for BBQ and picnic tables, playground, lots of greenspace for volleyball, etc, and enough room for all the geeks and families…
P.S. It seems like the geek dinner is actually an ideal forum for more launch parties like this in the future–for all companies around Utah… I would like to see that!
Sounds like fun. Count me in.
I’ve done BBQs with a couple of different groups at Riverview Park in Provo (a href=”http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=4620+N+300+W+provo+ut&ie=UTF8&z=15&om=1″>map). The pavilions and the BBQ grills are good. I’m not sure how a live band would work out, though — both in terms of being loud and for the electrical requirements. Those questions would probably have to be answered by the park department reservations people.
Thank you for changing the name. Provo Lab Solutions is generic and white bread. It sounds like 5 white, Mormon, Republicans in a basement in Provo.
