Scoble gets the scoop from Adobe, they’re open sourcing Flex! I haven’t had time to go through all the details, there are two exclusive videos on Scoble’s blog and PodTech about it. I’ll be watching them tonight.
The comments are indicating that they have gotten rid of the licensing fees for the Media Server as well, which I think means that Huddle from my buddy Lance Black’s group will be majorly affected – that could lead to another big win for Utah. I know Scott Lemon is gonna be excited about this.
This has a big effect on my companies as well since we’re going to be doing quite a bit of Flash/Flex development on Politic20 and potentially TagJungle.
