A little bit of peace.

After having a slight reaction to her last blood transfusion, they gave her some Benadryll and we were both able to get some good sleep.

Surgery in about an hour.

  1. These are the moments that she will remember… having such an amazing dad to stand by her and support her! We are keeping your family in our prayers, rest well.

  2. You are a softie - good luck with surgery

  3. Good luck. I truly hope everything turns out fine in the end.

  4. Hi,

You don’t know me at all, I found out about you through a twitter post. I just wanted to offer you some support. I am the father of a three year old and I can imagine the anguish and fear you must have been going through.

Be well, give her love, all us other Dads will be right there with you.

  5. Your family continues to be heavy in my thoughts and prayers. We’re all rooting for you over here in Oregon!

  6. So grateful that there is some good news to go along with the bad. We fasted as a family today for Serenity (and her parents too of course.) Thanks for the updates, keep us posted as your energy allows.

    Love you cuz,

    Noreen

  7. Your daughter is so lucky to be surrounded by so much love. I can see how much you and your husband love her. Hang in there. Be strong and know that you are not alone. Hug that sweet child from me and all of the other Amity mamas who care.

    Blessings to your family

  8. Just wanted to let you know that we love you and are keeping you and your family in our prayers…..i just gave my father-in-law a call (he is an oncologist) and he agrees….as far as cancer goes this is a good one to have and he suggested joining a support group to include the whole family. Just wanted to pass that along. Hang in there.

  9. Hi, I just wanted to stop by and offer some support…Nothing a stranger can say really makes this any easier…. But, relish in the fact that your daughter will really appreciate that you were there for her. I have had many surgeries and what I wouldn’t have given for a show of support like this from my Dad!! I know it’s probably automatic for you… but bravo anyway :)
You & your wife, Serenity and your family are in my thoughts.
