Well, all those Firefox advocates can shut the hec up now. . . Zeke. . . This may be old news to some (I’m not sure when this happened) but the latest version of the MSN Search Toolbar has *gasp* TABBED BROWSING!!! I’ve constantly had people pushing me to switch to Firefox, and I admit – the tabbed browsing was an attractive feature. But I held out, preferring to stick with IE because I liked the way it did a lot of things. I’m used to not using tabbed browsing, and can proudly say that I have NEVER used Firefox, and now I’m not tempted So now that the one reason for using Firefox instead of IE is DEAD – you gonna switch back Zeke? BTW, now I have to get used to tabbed browsing

A little bizarre that you would dismiss something so vehemently without even trying it… Im no evengelist for such things – I would allow myself exposure to alternatives before finalizing decisions.
And it should come as little surpise to you, additionally, that firefox supports a myriad of features over and beyond the lauded tabbed browsing. The list is to large and comprehenesive to go over here.
To each his own though. If you are indeed happy with IE, then there is no major reason to move.

Hi Ben, thanks for checking out my blog. I actually am very happy with IE, in several years of using it, I’ve NEVER had a major problem. I’ve been pretty heavily exposed to Firefox, but never used it because other than the tabbed browsing there were honestly no features that I was concerned with. I don’t care about Linux, I’m a Microsoft professional – I LOVE that IE is integrated with the OS. Again, thanks for taking the time to respond, I appreciate the dialog. — Phil801
Oh – and by the way, this blog entry was a bit tongue in cheek directed at some of my friends
