MacWorld and Meeting up with some friends

MacWorld was pretty cool! Raven and I headed over there at 10 in the morning and got signed in and started checking things out. It wasn’t nearly as large as CES so we were able to actually check things out. There was an incredible amount of iPod vendors displaying all kinds of things. I picked up a cool shuffle lanyard that has headphones built into it from check out there site, they have a lot of very cool iPod gadgets.

One really cool site that was there is guba. They have a NetFlix like system except it’s for video you can download that is formatted for your ipod. Looks very cool, I’ll be trying that one out.

After MacWorld, we headed over to the Chaat Cafe for Niall Kennedy’s Small Business Gathering. Met up with several people from yesterday and hung out with Kevin Burton of Tailrank. He spent some time showing me the new interface and features he’s been working on for the site – it looks really good! Then Kevin, Scott Beale and I spent a while chatting with Greg Reinaker, the founder of NewsGator about NewsGator and some of its features. We decided that I was probably the only one there that used NewsGator for Outlook! Here’s some pics from the gathering.

After the get together, we headed over to the Mac store where several of us bought the new release of iLife. Then it was over to Ritual Roasters in the Mission to hang out for a while longer. By the time I got back to the flat, Dave and Josh from Blastyx were here and we ended up chatting until around 3 am.

So, busy day – I love my job!
