While Keith Richards is driving people crazy with the idea of snorting his fathers ashes, cut with coke, James Doohan’s ashes are about to be blasted into space!
James Doohan who played Scotty in Star Trek died in 2005, later this month some of his ashes and about 200 other people’s partial ashes will be shot into space via a rocket launched from New Mexico. While it is a little bit weird, I think it’s pretty cool that even though it’s just his ashes Scotty will finally rest in space. Apparently anyone can have this done for a mere $495.00. I wonder if I could have my pinky toe shot into space once I’m dead….
