One of the blogs in my reader is problogger.net, they’ve been doing a month long feature on “How to improve your blog” and today’s post was about creating “Sneeze Pages” or pages that organize some of your content. I had already been thinking about a sidebar widget that would let me feature certain posts, but this seemed like a good idea.
So, this morning I created two new feature “sneeze” pages.
“Phil’s Pontifications” has posts where I dig into a topic or ones that I just thought were especially interesting. “How To’s” have posts where I go through how to do something or give examples of solutions to problems.
Some of these are a couple years old and several of my newer readers may never have seen them – so I had been wanting to find a good way to bring them to the forefront.  Categories just didn’t seem like a good solution – now you can find those two pages listed in the tabs at the top of my blog. Hopefully you’ll find them useful!
(oh, I accidentally did “Phil’s Pontifications” as a post instead of a page – if it shows up in your reader, I apologize, I didn’t delete it, just recreated it as a page)
